the dream from our family to yours

2021

Our story…

In 2021 we found our soulmate within each other and followed our hearts into marriage shortly after. What we knew was within each other was this deep need to go back to the beginning, to take the age old wisdom that what you leave behind is not things but people, and invest the rest of our lives in just that people. We sold our home in the suburbs as beautiful, serene, and comfortable as it was, and moved to our ranch in the country. We believe in providing the best food for others families the same as our own. The uncertain times we live in where loved ones can be gone in a blink, and the world flipped upside down so quickly. What we have left is each other, our spouses, our children, our friends that are more like family to us. Those people get us through the day by day, the journey and the vast majority of where we spend our time. Having a meal, with these people has been a tradition throughout the world crossing cultures, and ages. It gives us the time to be with each other, and spend the moments we all will look back on as the best in our life.

I met Bret, my husband at a horse ranch and proceeded to bring dinners for the entire group there each evening so that I could spend more time with him. I knew that everyone enjoys a good meal and everyone enjoys having that connection. I also knew that I loved a man more than words could explain and it was good ingredients and a lot of love that brought everyone together those evenings full of joy, laughter, and togetherness at that ranch. Bret and I both have an agricultural background and with my down in the dirty attitude and his thoughtful planning and an eye for precision, we are building a gorgeous ranch one step at a time. We are pleased to be apart of something that we both can love, and be proud of. We have a lot of plans for the future but the quality and love is something we never want to lose sight of as we know from wisdom it will be what we regret the most in our own last moments.
