Lamb
Our sheep are raised in a pasture setting where they have the comforts of shelter if they want, but also the freedom to live in nature breath fresh air, run and play, have a family herd, and eat all the grass and shrubs they want. They see the sun each day and get attention from their human family each day with little treats they come running for. Our sheep while serving a purpose also deserve our respect and care, so we have a gorgeous landscape for them to live their lives, raise their babies, and be fully protected and spoiled.
We currently raise Awassi and Icelandic sheep, both have very mild meat that is highly sought after. Our lambs grow up on their mothers milk and pasture to forage in they are not given grain or bulk feeds. We want them as natural and clean as nature allows. Our lambs are normally born in the late winter February to March, and ready for butchering by fall October to November timeframe, at about 60-80 pounds hanging weight.
Our lambs are sold whole as listed below, please email us if you have further questions about the process for butchering or where to go.
